Dhagpo Bern

This meditation group was founded on 17 June 2021. In September 2024 Jigme Rinpoche named it ‘Dhagpo Bern’.

The focus of our shared meditation is loving kindness, based on the buddhist teachings. We practice with the wish to deepen the understanding of our mind. We have the aspiration to develop a better understanding of ourselves and all living beings, to become freer and thus able to face life’s challenges in a more skillful and beneficial way for ourselves and also for others. These meditation evenings include: silent meditation, dharma explanations with instructions, mindful communication/exchange, and a short practice of Tschenresi (Bodhisattva of awakened compassion).

«Happiness cannot be found through great effort and willpower, but is already here, right now, in relaxation and letting go

– Gendun Rinpoche
